We are the Foundation for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Adolescents Zollikofen - a private, politically and denominationally neutral organisation with a charitable purpose. Our task is to support and accompany people with special needs from birth to young adulthood. We offer additional services to parents, teachers of public mainstream schools and special primary schools, as well as to professionals. Our core competencies lie in the support and accompaniment of young people with visual impairment, blindness, multiple disabilities or from the autism spectrum.
At our school, we are looking for a speech therapist from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks
You assess children and adolescents speech-therapeutically and carry out prevention, diagnostics and therapy with schoolchildren. In doing so, you work together with teachers, parents and specialist agencies. You conduct therapy lessons individually or in small groups, partly also in classes, according to defined support needs.
The pupils are on the autism spectrum or are blind, visually and multiply impaired. Your focus is on blind children and adolescents or those with a visual impairment. We wish for you to also acquire knowledge in the field of multiple disabilities and in swallowing issues or swallowing disorders (dysphagia). We are very happy to support you in building these competencies if needed.
Requirements
With your completed and recognised degree in speech therapy, you have acquired the necessary skills for this role. You contribute to a good team atmosphere with your straightforward and cooperative manner.
