Our picturesque community belongs to the Affoltern am Albis district in the canton of Zurich and is located with its breathtaking landscape in the idyllic Albis region. The small and growing community consists of the villages Kappel, Uerzlikon, and Hauptikon and has about 1,350 inhabitants. It has a kindergarten, a primary school, two shops, as well as a large range of leisure activities in the immediate vicinity. The good connection to the urban centers Zug and Zurich and the traditional Kappel Monastery as an educational center of the Reformed Church of the canton of Zurich are further reasons for the high quality of life in Kappel.
Our church community with the area of the Kappel Monastery as the sole community location comprises about 400 members - from young families to active seniors. For the vacant pastoral position (50%) we wish for a pastor who practices this profession out of vocation and conveys the gospel in a life-related and inviting manner.

- Meeting café with the possibility for low-threshold contacts
- Open cooperation with neighboring communities
Who we wish for:
- People-oriented, open-minded, and uncomplicated personality
- Creative pastor enthusiastic about design with joy and experience in (individual) pastoral office and integrative community work
- Openness and flexibility
What we wish for:
- Balanced and creative commitment in community work as well as strengthening of the community
- Own emphasis and design of the current pastoral work areas such as services, funerals, weddings, baptisms, confirmation and youth instruction, pastoral care, Advent events, as well as church council meetings
