The Stadtcasino Baden AG group stands for glamour, gastronomy and software around gambling: From the Grand Casino Baden to the internationally active iGaming company Gamanza, over 500 employees in five countries work for the group. Your playground is in Corporate IT: The five-person team around Gabriel Laratta currently supports the locations Baden and Locarno, with further locations such as Slovenia and Malta to be added in the future. You join at a time when structures and processes are being newly established - your own ideas count here more than just following instructions.

Your role

• You take overall responsibility for the network infrastructure of the entire group - across 3 locations in Switzerland, plus VPN connection to Locarno
• You design, plan and lead the major network redesign: target architecture, zone concept and migration strategy - here you set the direction
• You develop and implement security concepts: segmentation, Zero Trust, firewall policies, VPN always-on and data loss prevention
• You operate, monitor and further develop routers, switches, firewalls and WLAN in a 24/7 environment, including on-call duty (once a month for one week)
• You work closely with the server/client, VMware and cloud departments
• You bring two major projects to completion in 2027: WLAN renewal and the new telephone system, both as part of the ongoing building renovation
• You build network documentation as well as operational and emergency concepts and make the team less dependent on external partners
• You actively question the network that has grown over 20 years and bring your own proposals for optimisation - at the table your voice counts, not just the instructions

Our rules of the game

• You bring several years of solid practical experience in the network field (10+ years), ideally from an architecture or senior role
• You have already accompanied network redesigns and are familiar with network automation and network security
• Certifications such as Sonicwall or Extreme are an advantage - more important is your willingness to familiarise yourself with existing systems
• You bring experience with critical 24/7 infrastructures, ideally from a regulated industry
• You speak very good German and good English
• You are willing to take on on-call duty once a month for one week
• You want to have a say instead of just executing, bring your own ideas and remain flexible when priorities change
