Job description:
In your new role, your tasks will impact the quality of patient care. Your role will notably include:
- Caring for unstable adult patients presenting complex pathologies and multiple comorbidities related to medical, surgical, and obstetric specialties
- Caring for adult patients admitted to the Stroke Unit (certified Neuro-Vascular Unit)
Required profile:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in acute care services (Medicine, Surgery, Emergency, or Intensive Care) is required
- A strong interest in technical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a strong desire to maintain/develop your skills
- Having keen observation skills and sharp clinical judgment
- Being physically and mentally resilient
- Demonstrating a positive and proactive mindset
- Willingness to work closely with the medical team
Education level:
Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing required (or an equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross)
The position is also open to those who do not yet hold the intensive care capacity certificate. However, the post-graduate EPD SI training must be completed eventually, on the job, through a certified two-year training in close collaboration with either CHUV or HUG
