The municipality of Wald ZH is "City and Countryside", has 10,500 inhabitants and is a recreational area in the Zurich Oberland.

To strengthen our team in the tax department, we are looking for a committed person from 1 September 2026

Your area of responsibility

Independent execution of all activities related to the examination of tax returns and the tax assessment of natural persons
Initiation and execution of the inventory procedure in cases of death
Processing of inter-municipal tax allocations
First point of contact for taxpayers and representatives and providing oral and written information
Further exciting tasks depending on operational needs as well as your interests and knowledge

Your profile

Completed commercial training, preferably in a municipal administration
Several years of professional experience in Zurich municipal tax administration (ideally with assessment competence of the cantonal tax office Zurich)
Sound NEST user knowledge
Independent, precise and reliable working style
Networked and forward-looking thinking and acting
Strong service orientation as well as very good oral and written communication skills
Enjoyment of teamwork and contact with different stakeholders
