SUISA is the cooperative of music authors and publishers. Over 43,000 composers, lyricists and music publishers are organised in the company founded in 1923. SUISA enables music to be used publicly and ensures that the music creators are fairly paid for this use. Together with sister companies worldwide, it manages the rights of a total of two million authors and publishers. SUISA employs over 220 staff at the locations Zurich, Lausanne and Lugano.

The Events department maintains relationships with organisers of music events and comprises nearly 30 employees. 

These activities will inspire you

• Process-oriented management and organisation of customer service with the aim of successfully implementing the company strategy
• Continuous development of the department and its alignment with market needs
• Recording and monitoring of the music market in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein (concerts, parties and music festivals)
• Issuing licences and carrying out collections according to SUISA tariffs and those of other collecting societies
• Responsibility for achieving the annual revenue targets from music licences
• Personal support of customers and contractual partners
• Leadership and participation in various projects
• Representation of SUISA in external committees
• Personnel and professional leadership and development of employees at the Zurich and Lausanne locations

This is what sets you apart

• Higher business administration or comparable education
• Solid leadership experience
• Great interest in the music business
• Very good German as well as good French and English skills, knowledge of Italian is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial and service-oriented thinking and acting
• Confident appearance and pronounced communication and presentation skills
• Assertiveness and decisiveness
