YOUR CHALLENGE
-
Develop and maintain Java-based reporting engines for regulatory compliance under MiFID II/MiFIR, EMIR Refit, and FINFRAG
-
Build and optimise ETL processes using Spring Batch, Apache Camel, or Talend for reliable data integration and transformation

Integrate systems with Approved Reporting Mechanisms (ARM) and Trade Repositories (TR) to automate regulatory submissions

Collaborate with compliance, business analysts, and IT teams to interpret regulatory rules and translate them into technical implementations

Ensure full auditability by maintaining detailed, up-to-date documentation of all reporting logic, data flows, and configurations
YOUR PROFILE
-
5+ years of Java development experience, specialising in building reporting engines and integrating with ARM/TR systems

In-depth understanding of ETL processes and hands-on experience with data integration tools such as Spring Batch, Apache Camel, or Talend

Expertise in regulatory transaction reporting under MiFID II/MiFIR, EMIR Refit, and FINFRAG regimes

Practical experience with Dataiku DSS and Informatica PowerCenter (or equivalent integration platforms)

Proficient in Oracle databases and writing efficient PL/SQL for large-scale data processing

Experienced in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle for automated build and deployment

Experience in end-to-end delivery of regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit-compliant documentation

Ability to collaborate closely with compliance, business teams, and stakeholders across locations to meet strict deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently under tight timelines

Fluent in English; German or Italian language skills are a strong advantage — willing to travel between Zurich and Lugano as needed
