With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is a medical centre focused on the elderly person and is spread across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour (Stern) and Joli-Mont.
It manages acute situations, notably through the geriatric emergency services and the intermediate care at the Trois-Chênes Hospital, acute units some of which focus on geriatric syndromes, units for geriatric rehabilitation , musculoskeletal, cardiological , neurological and oncological rehabilitation, and long-stay units. It also includes a specialised palliative care service, a community geriatrics unit , a liaison geriatrics unit and the Memory Centre .
The internal medicine and rehabilitation service at Beau-Séjour welcomes people requiring care including rehabilitation treatments, diagnostic explorations, and neuro-rehabilitation therapies involving multidisciplinary teams, especially after an acute care stay. It has facilities (pool, confidence route, etc.) to help regain autonomy in daily living activities.
Job Description

You supervise and ensure quality medical services, under the supervision of medical hierarchy, within a care unit in the department of rehabilitation and geriatrics.
You coordinate practical activities, clinical or therapeutic interventions both clinically and administratively and organisationally.
You participate in the training of trainee doctors and have the opportunity to benefit from quality postgraduate training contributing to obtaining the specialist title in internal and general medicine (category B general internal medicine service), the specialist title in geriatrics (category A geriatrics service), and the specialist title in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO recognition MEBEKO ).
Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact within a multidisciplinary team and with patients. You are autonomous, flexible and demonstrate commitment.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
