The Criminal Service is responsible for the basic criminal police services and the corresponding investigations in the city of St. Gallen.

Employee in SO Criminal Service with Search Tasks (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: 9001 St. Gallen
What to expect
- Responding to incidents and initiating immediate measures
- Processing all criminal offenses and receiving reports, primarily in the area of the Penal Code, in the city of St. Gallen
- Search and investigative tasks, particularly in the areas of crimes against life and limb, robbery and property offenses, cybercrimes, and drug offenses
- Collaboration with other police departments and authorities to clarify crimes
- Analysis of data and information to identify suspects and recognize connections
- Preparation of search and investigation files as well as reports
- Working in shift operations in a new work model with partial on-call duty at home
What distinguishes you
- Federal professional certificate as a police officer
- Proven police knowledge in basic services and/or experience in criminal police work
- Knowledge in the application of police information systems and databases
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability
- Initiative, reliability, and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to participate in further training and education
