Specialist for School Social Work

In the Bischofszell primary school community, over 1360 children and adolescents are accompanied and supported by more than 200 educational professionals.

To complement our SSA team, we are looking for a motivated and committed person for the new school year 2026/27 with a start date of August 1, 2026

• Advice and support for children, parents, and teachers on social and personal issues
• Preventive work in classes and groups on topics such as conflict resolution, media literacy, and health
• Support for teachers in dealing with challenging situations
• Participation in projects and school activities with a preventive character
• Networking and collaboration with specialist agencies, authorities, and multiprofessional teams

• Completed studies in social work (FH) or equivalent training
• Professional experience in school social work or counseling in the school environment is an advantage
• Skills in prevention, crisis intervention, and project work
• Systemic and solution-oriented working methods
• Strong communication skills, independence, and enjoyment of working with children and families

• A versatile and responsible role in a committed team
• Close cooperation with school management and teachers
