Your Tasks
- You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the educational buildings in the Nord district.
- You lead around 65 employees in the areas of cleaning and caretaking, including 10 directly.
- You plan and manage the personnel and operational resources within your area of responsibility.
- You are the contact and coordination point for users as well as internal and external partners.
- You develop processes, methods, and tools in the specialist area further and implement them.
- You participate in the conception, planning, and implementation of strategic and organisational projects.
- You actively contribute to the further development of the Operations Management area and the leadership organisation.
Your Profile
- You hold a Swiss federal diploma as a Facility Management or Maintenance Manager or a Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management.
- You bring several years of professional and leadership experience.
- You possess strong leadership skills and enjoy developing employees and teams.
- You are a winning, team-oriented, and service-minded personality with high social competence.
- You are characterised by organisational strength and interconnected thinking and develop viable solutions even with differing interests.
- You are experienced in using CAFM and MS Teams.
- Whether small or large – you like change, actively initiate it, and enjoy creating new things.
The employees of the Operations Management area ensure daily that the city-owned properties are clean, well maintained, and reliably serviced.
The approximately 200 employees of the Real Estate department develop, plan, build, manage, maintain, and operate about 600 municipal properties. With school and sports facilities, residential and commercial buildings, as well as the Council and City Hall, the department makes an important contribution to a liveable city. Our work is as varied as our buildings are diverse.
