- The missions of SPAJ consist of ensuring the prevention, promotion and protection of youth and taking care of adults in difficulty. The service develops and finances outpatient care for children and guarantees the well-being of those placed, while financially supporting extrafamilial care structures as well as specialised education institutions.
As part of your role, you lead one of the two teams covering the Neuchâtel Littoral and the Val-de-Ruz.
Coordination is part of your daily routine. Together with your fellow team leaders, you orchestrate activities between the different OPE branches.
Together, you build a coherent response across the entire cantonal territory.
The quality of care remains your absolute priority. Each situation requires an adapted response and every family deserves professional support. Protection measures, both judicial and administrative, rely on your expertise to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
In parallel, you lead large-scale projects related to the office’s missions and participate in the strategy for developing and adapting the cantonal child protection system.
Holder of a bachelor’s degree in social work or an equivalent qualification, you have at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role related to child protection.
Your excellent knowledge of the Neuchâtel child protection system is an undeniable asset for this position. You have also completed team management training or are willing to undertake it.
Organised and comfortable in interpersonal relations, you have a sense of responsibility and possess strong pedagogical skills in adult education.
