As a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager, you independently lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of IT infrastructure projects in collaboration with our client’s partners. You ensure compliance with IT standards, respect deadlines and budgets, while guaranteeing the performance, security, and reliability of the systems.
Your main activities and responsibilities:
- Manage IT infrastructure projects (networks, servers, data centers, virtualization, cloud, security, telecoms, etc.) from design to delivery.
- Define and monitor the schedule, budget, and resources required for the project.
- Analyze business needs and translate these needs into technical solutions.
- Coordinate internal and external teams (service providers, suppliers).
- Ensure the technical quality of deliverables and compliance with IT standards and security.
- Write and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Identify and manage risks and incidents throughout the project.
- Provide regular reporting to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
Education and experience
- Higher education (HES / EPF engineer or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years proven experience in IT infrastructure project management, ideally in the hospital sector.
- Professional project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, HERMES…) will be an asset.
Technical and professional skills
Strong understanding of the following areas:
- Network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, etc.)
- Operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Virtualization and cloud (VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Monitoring tools and project management solutions
- IT security and compliance requirements
Leadership skills:
- Inspire and guide teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Prioritize and manage delicate situations professionally.
Personal qualities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to represent the project and manage stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results that meet expectations.
- Good listening skills, analytical mindset, and results orientation.
Languages:
- French: excellent oral and written proficiency, with strong writing skills.
- English: ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional context.
