Your Tasks
- You will take on the medical and administrative leadership of the Gastroenterology and Nutrition department and lead a team of senior physicians, fellows, assistant physicians, and nutrition advisors.
- Together with the team, you will cover not only basic gastroenterological care but also the entire specialised and highly specialised gastroenterological diagnostics and therapy according to the mandate of the Health Directorate.
- You will maintain close collaboration with other paediatric subspecialties, visceral surgery, anaesthesia, and the intensive care unit.
- You will represent the Gastroenterology department both professionally and organisationally internally and externally.
- You will be responsible for university teaching and research in the field of Gastroenterology and Nutrition as well as for the further training of fellows.
Your Profile
- Medical and specialist diploma in paediatrics and adolescent medicine with a focus title in paediatric gastroenterology or equivalent
- Research credentials with own gastroenterological focus and habilitation
- Proven clinical competence and leadership experience in the entire field of gastroenterology and hepatology as well as proven expertise in nutrition
- Interest in training, further education, and student teaching
