The IV Office Solothurn is a service provider within the Swiss social insurance network with around 125 employees. We support people with health impairments in the canton of Solothurn through individual insurance benefits.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Pension Specialist (80 – 100% workload).

Your tasks

• You process incoming applications from checking the insurance requirements to case closure.
• You contact treating doctors, other insurance providers, and employers to obtain a comprehensive picture of the health and occupational situation of the affected person.
• In exchange with internal specialists, you decide whether there is entitlement to IV benefits. You draft and justify the pension decision.

Your profile

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship. Ideally, you hold the social insurance specialist certificate or are willing to obtain it.
• Several years of work experience in a complex administrative role.
• You have a quick grasp and are able to recognise complex contexts and develop appropriate solutions.
• You enjoy working independently and are decisive.
• You are strong in communication and confident in negotiation. Additionally, you enjoy writing clearly and understandably.
• You approach differing interests in a solution-oriented manner.
• You are interested in legal and medical topics.
• Whether with professional experience, as a career changer, or restarting – you are curious and interested in the social insurance sector. You are in the right place with us!
