Job Description

In addition to independently performing vulnerable X-ray and cross-sectional imaging, other exciting tasks await:

• Development and further advancement of the entire radiology department (MRI, CT, X-ray), including defining processes and workflows
• Organisation & planning of the examination offerings
• Co-responsible for the utilisation and performance of the institute
• Representation of radiology to patients, referrers, and third parties
• Close cooperation with radiologists
• Responsible for all operational processes in radiology
• Responsible for all interfaces in radiology and good interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ensuring billing and all related processes
• Contact person for enquiries from patients, referrers, and third parties
• Operation of all available modalities, including professional conduct of examinations
• Carrying out documentation and service recording
• RIS & PACS maintenance
• Design and implementation of personnel recruitment and retention measures in close cooperation with the HR department and clinic management
• Training of new employees, leading team meetings, organising further education and training as well as duty planning
• Radiation protection officer for the clinic
• Creation of an induction and rotation concept within the network (Swiss Medical Network)

Management of equipment and consumables

• Quality assurance of the equipment
• Collection of statistics on equipment and consumables
• Contact person for medical technology, IT regarding new equipment purchases, malfunctions, and maintenance
• Interaction with equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical representatives, and other business partners of radiology
• Management of consumables and medications, e.g.: management of the ordering process, storage, inventory, etc.
• Development of proposals to optimise utilisation and consumption

Qualifications

• Completed MTR training HF / FH and professional experience
• Experience in MRI, CT, and conventional X-ray
• High patient and team orientation
• Strong service commitment
• Solution-oriented approach
• Independent working is ingrained in your DNA
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, additional languages desired
