Controller 60 - 70%The State Archive of the Canton of Zurich (www.staatsarchiv.zh.ch) is the central archive of the Canton of Zurich and its historical legal predecessors, with archival holdings spanning 1150 years. It preserves original documents of the Cantonal Council, the government, the cantonal central and district administrations, as well as the cantonal courts, notaries, and independent public-law institutions, and makes them accessible to the public.
The Cross-Sectional Tasks department covers the specialist areas of finance, infrastructure, and human resources. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a committed individual as a
Controller 60 - 70% from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Preparation of the consolidated development and financial plan as well as the annual report
- Responsibility for budget and project controlling as well as active participation in the design and further development of office controlling
- Participation in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects
- Support of the office management in leadership and control tasks
- Possible involvement in the area of human resources
Your profile
- A completed degree in business administration or a commercial training with further education in finance and accounting
- Several years of professional experience in controlling/accounting – ideally in the public administration
- Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Team spirit, resilience, and enjoyment of responsibility
- Structured, efficient, and solution-oriented working style, holistic thinking, and good self-organisation
- Strong communication skills and, if possible, interest in human resources topics
