For the Tertianum Résidence in Bern, we are looking for a

Head Chef 80-100%

Your tasks

• Responsible for varied, enjoyable and target group-appropriate catering for both internal guests and the public restaurant
• Responsible for catering in a neighbouring Tertianum facility
• Responsible for leading the kitchen team: operational management and planning as well as assisting with personnel recruitment
• Purchasing goods (fresh and stored products) and monitoring stock management including inventory according to Tertianum guidelines
• Planning and designing offers including pricing in consultation with management
• Maintaining and further developing operational recipes
• Monitoring and controlling compliance with food legislation, occupational safety, hygiene regulations and the TAG - HACCP concept

Your profile

• Completed training as a cook EFZ and several years of professional experience in a comparable job profile / certified head chef or leadership training advantageous
• Several years of leadership experience in system or upscale gastronomy
• Very good IT skills
• Driving licence category B
• Active participation in the kitchen
• A warm and humorous basic attitude
• Enjoyment of diverse challenges
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
