As a dynamically growing company whose international success is primarily based on innovations and market-oriented new developments, we are looking for a motivated development engineer (m/f/d) for the development of test systems.
The linear motors, which are part of a servo drive system, are highly integrated mechatronic components. These include not only the actual drive part but also integrated sensor elements for detecting magnetic fields and temperatures. The measured physical quantities are already captured in the motor via microcontroller systems and evaluated into position and speed values.
The characteristics and functions of the motors and entire systems must be determined. On the one hand, type tests are conducted: newly developed series must be measured in a statistically relevant number so that the model parameters can be determined. On the other hand, all motors leaving our production undergo one or more quality tests, where each individual specimen is measured, and the determined characteristic values are checked and archived for later traceability. In addition, the necessary operating parameters are determined and stored in the internal memory of the motor.
Your area of responsibility includes the development of these automated measurement and test systems. These systems must first be built in hardware, and then the functionality of the test systems is to be implemented. LabView is used for this purpose. The tester development takes place in a dedicated team in close collaboration with motor and drive development. The introduction of the testers into production as well as their technical support are also part of your responsibilities.
Magnet technology, sensor technology, data acquisition, data processing, microcontroller technology, data archiving, and peripheral control are just some of the topics you will encounter.
In addition to a successfully completed degree (FH or ETH, field of electrical engineering), we expect a willingness to understand the latest technologies and to apply them in a goal-oriented manner. A high degree of personal commitment, joy in technology, especially in mechatronic tasks, along with the aim of developing intuitively usable systems, is the key to success. You are a team player and appreciate the direct decision-making processes of a medium-sized company.
Your workplace is located in Spreitenbach AG, where, in addition to the R&D department, the management and marketing as well as parts of production are located.
We look forward to receiving your application at the following address:
