Quality Engineer & Safety Officer 80–100%

We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Quality Engineer with extended responsibilities as Safety Officer for our Quality Team. You will support our employees in ensuring a sustainable, safe and compliant working environment, in accordance with ISO standards and legal requirements.
Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring, maintaining and further developing the areas of non-conformities, corrective actions, continuous improvements and occupational safety & health protection
- Conducting and documenting Q-circle meetings, root cause analyses (5Why, Ishikawa, etc.), corrective actions and their improvements, risk assessments and investigation of accident events.
- Optimising and further developing through training and operational awareness on the topic of non-conformities and occupational safety (e.g. through Gemba walks)
- Ensuring compliance with normative areas regarding non-conformities, corrective actions, continuous improvements as well as legal requirements for occupational safety. Plus accompanying and conducting audits
- Organisational lead of Q-circles as well as the emergency organisation (evacuation drills, first responders, etc.)
Your profile
- A completed technical basic education with further training in occupational safety & non-conformities as well as improvements
- At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company
- Solid knowledge of Swiss labour and safety law as well as ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 with a focus on non-conformities, corrective actions and continuous improvements
- Independent, methodical working style and good communication and persuasiveness, ability to collaborate with a wide range of parties (local, global, internal and external)
- Fluent German and English skills, French is a plus
