To strengthen our maintenance team at the Lyss location, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a skilled and committed person as
Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
Your main tasks:
- Independently performing all repair, diagnostic, and service work on commercial vehicles and superstructures
- Professional use of diagnostic tools
- Repairs on engine, transmission, brake, and hydraulic systems
- Repair of electrical and electronic components
- Safety and function tests, preparation for vehicle inspection (MOT)
- On-call duty
Our requirements:
- Completed vocational training as a commercial vehicle mechanic or mechatronics technician, agricultural or construction machinery mechanic, or automotive specialist
- Further training as a diagnostician or ambition to complete this training
- Several years of professional experience in vehicle mechanics, specialised further training is an advantage
- Teamwork, commitment, and networked thinking
- Independent and methodical working style
- Driving licence category C/CE or willingness to obtain one
