PRESENTATION OF EMS LES MARRONNIERS
Welcoming and warm, our establishment is located in the heart of nature, in Chêne-Bougeries. More than 100 employees daily put their skills at the service of 63 residents who live in single rooms.
Your mission
In service of the Institutional Life Project, the Head of Hotel Services is responsible for:
- Ensuring the management of hotel services (catering, laundry, maintenance, technical and security) based on a sense of welcome, attention to detail, and quality of service to guarantee high-quality services, in line with institutional standards and the expectations and well-being of residents.
- Guaranteeing the technical supervision of the building and security measures in coordination with the maintenance agent.
- Developing the Services and adapting them according to clientele, environment, standards or budgetary constraints through a constant search for efficiency.
- Ensuring a regular presence on site to control the quality of services, support, train teams and guarantee compliance with hotel standards.
- Leading projects to evolve hotel services by promoting innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Identifying risks related to their area of activity and implementing necessary preventive and corrective measures.

TRAINING
- Diploma from a recognised hotel school (or equivalent training).
- Additional training in hotel management (Federal Certificate or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in IT tools and resource management and planning software (Microsoft Office, Polypoint, DIR-SADIES).
- Excellent command of spoken and written French.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury hospitality.
- 3 years’ experience in a managerial role in hospitality.
- Experience in technical supervision of a building (an asset).
- Knowledge of the Geneva health network is desirable.
- Knowledge of hygiene basics in a hospital environment is desirable.
