The pre-course is aimed at adolescents and young adults who are motivated to complete vocational training and who, for this reason, wish to attend the career choice school, an integration pre-apprenticeship, or similar after the pre-course. They have no or only rudimentary German skills and therefore cannot yet enter a preparatory year for a profession. With the pre-course, they want to acquire the linguistic and cultural or work-related prerequisites for this. The pre-course is not aimed at young people whose language deficit is due to a physical or psychological learning and performance limitation or a related developmental or behavioural deficit. Oral information at the municipality or the WBK with rough assessment of suitability 2.
Invitation to the admission interview at the WBK 3.
Admission interview (if necessary with native language translation): clarification of requirements regarding German, reading & writing, motivation for the pre-course, if necessary further development needs (additional basic skills), if necessary clarification of pre-course financing 4.
Written registration with the necessary documents (see below) at the office designated by the municipality of residence or directly at the WBK 5.
Cost approval by the municipality. In case of unclear financing: consultation with the municipality or other cost bearers 6.
