Operations Manager / Site Manager Cosmetics Production (m/f/d)

Do you want to take responsibility, shape rather than manage, and actively further develop an important production site? Then we offer you a key position with plenty of scope for design and direct influence on quality, delivery reliability, efficiency, and the further development of our operation.

At the Ebnat-Kappel site, we develop and produce high-quality cosmetics and body care products for our customers.

Your Tasks

You take overall operational responsibility for the Ebnat-Kappel site and successfully lead it in terms of safety, quality, delivery reliability, productivity, costs, and employee management.

In particular, you are responsible for:

• Leading and further developing the areas of manufacturing, packaging, logistics, technical services, administration, purchasing, quality assurance, and development.
• Controlling operational key figures to achieve performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets as well as continuous optimisation of processes, workflows, and interfaces.
• Ensuring stable, efficient, and economical production and operational processes.
• Guaranteeing quality, hygiene, and safety standards in cosmetics production.
• Further developing the organisation, employees, and operational infrastructure.
• Planning and implementing investments, improvement projects, and automation initiatives.
• Close collaboration with sales, development, quality, purchasing, and other departments within the FRIKE GROUP.
• Representing the site towards internal and external stakeholders.
• Being a member of the Business Unit Care leadership team.

Your Profile

• Technical or scientific education with appropriate further training or business administration FH/HF with several years of professional experience in a production operation.
• Several years of leadership experience in production, operations, plant or site management in an industrial, quality-oriented production environment (cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, or a comparable sector).
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality, safety, economic efficiency, delivery reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Clear, binding, and development-oriented leadership with the ability to develop employees, delegate responsibility, and drive change.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, high personal responsibility, decisiveness, and strong implementation skills.
• Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in working closely with the team to implement solutions.
• Interest in digitalisation and automation.
• Very good German skills, good English skills.
