Your mission 

You will develop the next generation of component and system solutions for timber and hybrid construction together with our team.

In doing so, you combine engineering, design, economic efficiency and practical feasibility.

You accompany new solutions from the initial idea through calculation and design to application in real construction projects – and continuously develop the solutions based on experience.

Your tasks

• Development and further development of system solutions in timber and steel.
• Development of economical structural concepts for timber and timber-steel hybrid construction
• Technical conception, dimensioning and optimisation of our solutions
• Development of intelligent connections between timber, steel and concrete
• Integration of our systems and solutions into concrete construction and structural concepts
• Preparation of constructive details as well as static and technical verifications
• Optimisation of solutions regarding material use, production costs, prefabrication, transport and assembly
• Development of standards and recurring constructive solutions
• Consideration of demountability, reusability and circularity
• Management of pilot and reference projects from planning to realisation
• Technical advice to architects, engineers, timber construction companies, general contractors and clients
• Support of sales in developing technically and economically convincing project solutions
• Close collaboration with development, production, steel construction, sales as well as external specialist planners and partners

Your profile 

• Basic training as a carpenter, joiner or in a comparable technical profession
• Degree as a timber construction engineer BSc/FH or comparable qualification
• Profound knowledge in structural timber construction and structural planning
• Good knowledge of cadwork
• Good knowledge of Dlubal RSTAB/RFEM
• Understanding of the interaction between timber, steel and concrete
• Experience with constructive details, connections and joining technology
• Strong understanding of economical and producible designs
• Interest in standardisation, prefabrication and industrial construction processes
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment in taking responsibility
• Curiosity, enthusiasm for innovation and the ambition to continuously improve existing solutions
