What to expect:
- You will learn the basics of engineering sciences in your studies – topics from mathematics and physics
- You will also receive in-depth knowledge in the areas of structural engineering, geotechnics, hydraulic engineering, and transport engineering
- Additionally, you will complete courses in business administration, law, and project management – ideal for your later responsibility in construction
- During your dual studies, you will also participate in exciting interdisciplinary study projects
- Getting to know the areas of assembly and construction management
- You will learn the installation and assembly of cantilevers, chain drives, and switches with heavy equipment for overhead line assembly
- Participating in construction projects and various areas such as planning, construction costing, work preparation, and project management to prepare you for your future role as a construction manager
- You will familiarise yourself with the tasks of an industrial electrician in the field of overhead line systems
Your profile:
- You have (soon) successfully completed your A-levels or have a corresponding professional qualification (professionally qualified applicants must meet the admission requirements of TH Nuremberg)
- Your favourite subjects are maths and physics
- You enjoy teamwork and have a natural aptitude for manual skills
- You are keen on varied tasks between office, planning, and construction site with changing workplaces and working hours (including night shifts)
- Goal-oriented and independent work is, of course, second nature to you
