About the job
The SCHAFFHAUSER SPECIAL SCHOOLS are an independent public-law institution of the canton of Schaffhausen. More than 480 children and adolescents with physical and/or cognitive impairments, with speech, hearing, or other profound developmental disabilities are currently taught and supported integratively in the regular schools of the canton or separately at four locations in the city of Schaffhausen. In addition to various therapy offers, we run a school-complementary area with lunch service, day structure, and boarding school. Over 570 employees are committed in various functions at the SCHAFFHAUSER SPECIAL SCHOOLS. For the 2025/26 school year, we are looking for an assistant for special education children for our integrative special education. Up to 35% workload possible, assignments mainly in the mornings to accompany and support one or more students in their classes in the regular schools of the canton of Schaffhausen. Area of responsibility:- Accompanying and supporting special education children in class
- Implementation of specific tasks for and with the special education child
- Constructive collaboration with the special education teacher, class teacher, and
