What to expect:
- Sinker EDM: Independent sinker EDM of highly precise form geometries on individual parts using Agie Charmilles machines
- Electrode production: Responsible production of electrodes using milling machines (Mikron WF 2) and lathes (Schaublin 102)
- Development & Design: Active participation in feasibility analyses and electrode design planning
- Quality assurance: Metrological inspection of eroded components and comprehensive documentation in measurement protocols
- Change management: Precise updating and maintenance of technical changes on manufacturing drawings
- Support & Service: Technical support for erosion work for tool maintenance and adjacent departments
- Process optimisation: Continuous monitoring and optimisation of manufacturing resources within the framework of continuous improvement process (CIP)
What you bring:
- Education: Successfully completed basic training as a polymechanic, production mechanic EFZ, or a comparable technical qualification
- Professional experience: Experience in sinker or wire EDM is a plus but not a requirement – we also offer motivated professionals a thorough introduction to sinker EDM
- Working style: High quality awareness combined with a hands-on, solution-oriented, and independent working approach
- Precision: A keen flair and enthusiasm for working in the micrometre range (micro tolerances)
- Soft skills: Reliable personality with a strong team spirit
