To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate hire Test Engineer: Hardware & Systems
Your Responsibilities
Planning, development, and execution of hardware tests for devices and systems in the automotive, medical technology, and industrial sectors
Creation of test scenarios, execution of simulations, and validation of electrotechnical systems
Application of Sistema for safety analysis and validation of functional safety requirements
Conducting failure analyses and supporting the optimization of systems
Documentation and analysis of test results, creation of test reports and test documentation
Close collaboration with electrical design and development to optimize components and systems
Conducting and supporting EMC tests as well as tests according to relevant standards
Participating in the competence center and supporting innovation projects
Your Qualifications
Completed training as an automation technician, electronics technician, or comparable qualification, alternatively a degree in electrical engineering (BSc is an advantage)
Experience in testing and validating hardware systems, ideally in a safety-critical environment
Proficient use of testing instruments and tools, including Sistema
Knowledge in the simulation and analysis of electrotechnical components (e.g., Spice is an advantage)
Experience in applying relevant standards (e.g., Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive)
Experience with E-CAD systems (e.g., Zuken E3 or EPLAN) and basic knowledge in electrical design is an advantage
Programming skills (e.g., C++, Python, Lua) for test automation are an advantage
Very good German and good English skills
