Your challenge:

• You plan, dispatch, and optimise our nationwide routes and ensure an efficient and cost-conscious use of vehicles and driving personnel.
• You lead the driving personnel assigned to you and contribute to deployment and holiday planning, working time control, as well as training and development of employees.
• In case of last-minute changes, vehicle or personnel absences, or extraordinary customer requests, you find pragmatic solutions and initiate the necessary measures.
• You ensure compliance with the relevant regulations of transport logistics and the ARV.
• As a central contact person, you work closely with our driving personnel, our customers, and various internal and external departments.
• You support the organisation and management of our vehicle fleet – from maintenance and repairs to inspections and forward-looking fleet planning.
• You record and process transport and standing orders and take on further organisational and administrative tasks within transport logistics.
• With your interconnected thinking and ideas, you help to continuously develop our processes and transport logistics.

Your profile:

• You have further training as a dispatcher or a comparable qualification.
• You bring several years of professional experience in dispatch or logistics as well as sound knowledge in route management.
• Ideally, you already have experience in leading and developing employees.
• You have good knowledge of the relevant regulations in transport and the ARV.
• You are reliable, resilient, and flexible and are characterised by a quick grasp, decisiveness, and assertiveness.
• Entrepreneurial and interconnected thinking as well as a pronounced cost awareness are among your strengths.
• You communicate confidently in German; knowledge of French, Italian, and English is an advantage.
• You are proficient in MS Office and have experience with ERP and dispatch systems. Knowledge of CSB and X4 Fleet as well as an affinity for digital tools such as Power BI or CRM are a plus.
• Good geographical knowledge as well as a good understanding of distances and driving times complete your profile.
• A category C driving licence is an advantage.
• You are willing to take on on-call duties and weekend shifts and bring the necessary flexibility for this.
