The Swiss School Foundation for Guide Dogs in Allschwil BL has existed since 1972 and is financed through donations, legacies, and the Federal Disability Insurance. It is responsible for the breeding, rearing, and training of guide dogs, assistance and social dogs, and autism assistance dogs. The infrastructure is modern and the training concept is of a high standard.To strengthen the team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an Autism Assistance Dog Instructor 100% (m/f/d)

Your tasks
• Training autism assistance dogs for children and introducing them to the family
• Continuous support of families on site as well as during the dogs’ retirement process
• Assessments of new candidate families
• Accompanying and instructing clients in further training courses
Your profile
• Ideally two or more years of experience in the assistance dog field
• Recognised diploma as Autism Assistance Dog Instructor (ADI) is an advantage
• Recognised training as an autism coach is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of modern dog training methods (e.g. according to the LIMA principle) and an open attitude towards new findings in dog training
• Flexible, team-oriented, and independent personality with high physical and mental resilience
• Languages: native German, very good English skills
• Driving licence category B
