This is what awaits you in your apprenticeship:

• You will be taught an understanding of electrical quantities such as voltage, current, resistance, and power
• In addition, as an electronics technician for operational technology, you will learn to analyse and eliminate faults in operational technology
• You are jointly responsible for the power supply of around 20,000 electric train journeys daily and ensure sufficient energy at the approximately 5,700 stations in Germany
• In particular, you work on high-voltage systems and support our maintenance staff with maintenance work and installations at transformer stations in stations, substations along the railway lines, and converter plants in the 110 kV railway power network
• You ensure that our energy supply systems are regularly inspected and maintained

Your profile:

• You have (soon) successfully completed school and your school leaving certificate is recognised in Germany
• Your German language skills correspond to at least the B2 level
• You enjoy maths and physics
• You are handy and like tinkering with electronic components
• You are definitely a team player
• It is also clear that you are reliable
• In addition, you like to work independently
