We are offering a position from June 2028 as
Junior Assistant: Internal Medicine 100%
Your area of responsibility
You will gain the following insights
- Care of inpatient internal medicine patients under supervision
- Assistance with patient admission and discharge
- Learning and practicing specific clinical examination techniques as well as interpreting technical examinations
- In the emergency department: medical emergency admissions, care of outpatient/general practitioner patients, participation in minor surgical procedures (wound care, repositioning, casting)
- Junior assistants are integrated into the on-call service operation
Your profile
- Junior assistants in the elective study year (CH) or internship year/PJ (D)
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Independent, reliable working style
- Resilient, flexible, responsible, and eager to learn
- Ability to work in a team and interest in learning more about how a regional hospital operates
Our offer
- Learning clinical assessment (history, status) of inpatient and outpatient patients, holistic evaluation of a patient with creation of a diagnostic and therapy plan
- Performing diagnostic tests, learning how to conduct informed consent discussions, participating in specialist examinations (ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy)
- Learning differential diagnostic approaches and developing the ability for problem-oriented thinking
