Finance Officer
(80%)
Our Finance team does far more than classic financial administration. We support the diverse offerings of Streetchurch with clear processes from daily payment transactions through clean bookkeeping and timely closures. Added to this are budgeting, key figures, and a conscientious handling of the funds entrusted to us. This creates a reliable financial foundation for our impact. To ensure our financial management remains professional, reliable, and close to Streetchurch’s mission, we are looking for a person who enjoys precise work and wants to actively shape and further develop our financial processes.
Together, we will set your focus in the following areas:
Financial administration and daily business
- Preparation and execution of outgoing and incoming payments
(including billing and reconciliation of various payment channels) - Processing of debtors
(recording, invoicing, maintaining the central debtor list, dunning) - Processing of creditors
(invoice receipt, internal distribution, approval control, booking control) - Handling interfaces to the external payroll administration of the sponsoring organisation
(provision of data and documents) - Checking and processing of employee expenses and reimbursements
- Management of incoming mail for finance and handling daily enquiries
- Management and administration of physical and digital financial files
(including monitoring lists) - General administrative support for the Finance Management of Streetchurch
Accounting and financial processes
- Ongoing posting of payment transactions, including cash and account reconciliations
- Handling internal allocations, including assignment of earmarked funds
- Preparation and support for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
(including rebookings and corrections) - Ensuring data quality and document organisation
- Implementation and documentation of financial processes and guidelines (including reporting deviations, support during audits and reviews)
- Administrative support of the budgeting process
- Commercial training or equivalent experience as an employee in administration
- Additional qualification in finance or corresponding professional experience
- Trainer course or willingness to undertake further training
- High degree of independence and initiative as well as efficient and goal-oriented working
- Flexibility and service orientation
- Friendly and positive personality with a likeable and confident manner
- Team player with very high social and self-competence
- Very good Microsoft Office skills
