About the job
As a Prevention Specialist and Project Manager, you will further develop the professional foundations and projects of the SLRG in the field of swimming and water safety, thereby making a direct contribution to the prevention of water accidents in Switzerland. Do you enjoy working scientifically based in behavioural and accident prevention, can you present complex contexts clearly, and do you move confidently between professionals, authorities, volunteers, and other stakeholders? At the same time, are you interested in association matters and do you appreciate actively shaping processes and structures?
Prevention Specialist and Project Manager
Your Field of Activity
You develop and accompany national projects and measures to promote swimming and water safety.
You research scientific foundations, analyse studies, and prepare findings for practice, communication, and political discussions.
You monitor developments in the field of prevention and water safety and maintain exchanges with professional organisations, authorities, and research partners.
You contribute to workshops, expert groups, and participatory development processes in your area.
You initiate projects and coordinate them with other departments and/or partners.
You are interested in the further development of digital tools, data processes, and specialist systems and bridge the gap between the specialist area and technical solutions.
What You Bring
University degree or comparable education in health promotion, public health, prevention, sports sciences, or a related field.
Experience in project management as well as in the development and implementation of prevention projects.
Interest in scientific questions as well as the ability to prepare complex findings clearly and appropriately for the target group.
Experience in a non-profit organisation, an association, or a comparable environment is an advantage.
Enjoyment in dealing with different stakeholders and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Structured, analytical, and networked way of working.
High personal responsibility and pronounced communication skills.
Affinity for digital tools, data management, and process digitalisation.
Confident German language skills as well as active language competence in at least one other official language of Switzerland.
