What you will achieve
- Leadership, motivation and scheduling of employees as well as ensuring smooth operational processes
- Active participation with direct customer contact and ensuring guest satisfaction, including catering provision and delivery
- Responsibility for purchasing, ordering, inventory as well as operating the cash register and preparing daily accounts
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP and ISO guidelines.
- Support with administrative tasks as well as carrying out tidying and cleaning duties
What you bring with you
- Completed training in gastronomy, ideally as a cook, as well as experience in a comparable role
- Initial leadership experience and comprehensive experience in all positions, preferably in the à la carte sector
- Guest- and service-oriented working style with attention to detail and organisational talent
- Flexibility, enthusiasm and sense of responsibility in a dynamic environment

Your place of work
At Mattehof Gastronomy in Bern, our host team with 17 employees delights around 500 guests daily. The high-quality, attractive and varied offer consists of various menus, front cooking (pasta concept, wok or grill), free choice buffet, extensive salad buffet and snacks. Additionally, the gastronomy includes a cafeteria. Through the in-house catering offer, it is possible to order snacks and drinks for meetings or receptions. Regular company events and special occasions are held. You work from Monday to Friday, between 06:00 and 17:00, depending on the roster. The operation is closed on public holidays and weekends. You are flexibly deployable for occasional special events.What we offer you - among other things
