The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. The Cybercrime Department provides support in operational investigative procedures. The tasks of the Investigation Support Service include, among others, the analysis of information and data as well as the training, consulting, and support of internal and external partners.

Cybercrime Data Analyst 80 - 100%

As a specialist in operational criminal analysis, you will be responsible for the following tasks, among others:

• Preparation, evaluation, and analysis of information and data within the framework of police investigations
• Focus on financial analyses, text analyses, and database management
• Evaluation and implementation of AI solutions
• Detection of crime patterns and visualisation of analysed data
• Development of hypotheses and recommendations for action
• Preparation of reports for the case management
• Active collaboration with various partner organisations
• Lecturing activities and participation in internal and external training and further education

Profile

• Federal specialist certificate as a police officer or certificate plus several years of frontline experience as a police officer
• Swiss citizenship
• Completed studies in an analytical field advantageous; alternatively equivalent training or corresponding practical experience
• High IT affinity
• Willingness for training and further education
• Good communication skills and pronounced team spirit
• Team-oriented, innovative, and resilient personality with a high sense of responsibility
• Editorial skills as well as good presentation and communication competence
• Confident German and good English skills (B2)
• Impeccable reputation
