The task of the automatic visual inspection department is the qualitative inspection of semi-finished products. Each infusion bottle of a batch is automatically visually inspected for container integrity, the appearance of the solutions, and the readability of the labeling according to specified criteria. Bottles that do not meet the criteria are sorted out. Only bottles assessed as good are further processed.

Team Leader: Automatic Visual Inspection (m/f/d)
 

The team leader is responsible for the timely visual inspection of all semi-finished products intended for the AVI line. This task is fulfilled in terms of quality and quantity. The team leader supervises a team of qualified employees in carrying out these tasks.
 

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for the visual inspection of semi-finished products according to applicable procedures, processes, and regulations under cGMP

• Technical, organizational, and personnel management of the production staff to maintain a safe and efficient production environment

• Ensuring that requirements regarding safety, quality, reliability, and costs are met within your area

• Monitoring the production process and timely intervention in case of problems

• Coordinating activities with other departments (e.g., Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Assurance)

• Reviewing and closing batch records

• Continuous improvement of processes through analysis of process data and initiating appropriate measures

You bring the following qualifications and professional experience:

• Completed vocational training in the food, pharmaceutical, or technical field

• Excellent knowledge of cGMPs and production processes in a GMP-regulated industry

• Strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for complex, highly automated production systems

• Proven skills in problem-solving, time management, and prioritization

• Very good German language skills (spoken & written)

• Good PC skills (MS Office, SAP, MES)

• At least 1 to 3 years of leadership experience

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry

• Willingness to work flexible shifts between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
