Job Description

In pharmacy:

• Ensure the daily restocking of floors and the ward safely.
• Respond to specific requests from care units and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with current charters.
• Always follow the directives of the cantonal pharmacist.

In Outpatient Oncology:

Master technical acts within your field of competence:

• Reconstitute and prepare injectables according to good manufacturing practices.
• Master and perform the aseptic preparation of cytostatics according to good manufacturing practices and ensure their traceability.
• Know and apply the procedures to follow in emergency situations (in reaction to a product and in case of extravasation or vial breakage, or chemical contamination).
• Know the hazards related to handling cytostatics and the procedures to follow in case of exposure risk (needle stick, eye splash, skin contact).

Qualifications

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as pharmacy assistant
• Experience in oncology and excellent adaptability skills
• Sense of priorities in acute situations and good stress management
• Organisational skills and ability to work independently 
• Sense of multidisciplinary collaboration
• Availability and flexibility
• English desired
• Willingness to expand your skills in a specialised sector.
