•  Professional and personnel leadership of the department with about 30 employees consisting of experts, specialists, and system engineers
•  Strategic further development of the specialist areas and leadership of the innovation process in the field of system engineering in collaboration with product management
•  Optimization and standardization of technical concepts and systems
•  Execution of resource and task planning with a focus on quality, scheduling, and cost adherence
•  Technical coordination with other areas, including software engineering, mechanical engineering, safety, and approval departments
•  Cross-site further development of processes and workflows in the context of order implementation
•  Collaboration with customers, suppliers, authorities, and approval bodies in an international environment

•  Completed studies (ETH, university, FH) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable
•  Several years of professional and leadership experience in plant or rail vehicle construction
•  Solid understanding of the system technology of rail vehicles and the relevant standards
•  Strong analytical skills and organizational talent
•  Very good German and English skills in spoken and written (level C1)
