The Emmental Group Practice AG is a company of Emmental Hospital and operates general practitioner practices in Langnau, Bärau and, since July 2025, again at the Burgdorf location.

The Burgdorf general practice enables long-term primary care and relieves the emergency centre by taking over fast-track patients. Close cooperation with the hospital's specialist departments supports coordinated and optimal care.

Our medical team is being expanded and therefore we are looking for:

Medical Practice Assistant (a) 40–50%

Your area of responsibility - versatile and varied

• You are the central hub in our daily practice routine
• You organise and triage the consultation hours and ensure a smooth, structured process
• At reception and on the phone, you are an important contact person – friendly, competent and solution-oriented
• You professionally care for our patients – ECG, vital sign checks, blood draws, urine tests, injections and infusions, Zybio laboratory
• You support the doctor in their tasks and with minor surgical procedures
• You prepare billing according to Tardoc and assist with various administrative tasks
• You actively contribute to the design, implementation and further development of processes and procedures in the ongoing practice development

Your profile – professionally skilled and personally convincing

• You have completed training as an MPA, ideally with professional experience
• You are a likeable personality and thrive in teamwork
• Openness, flexibility and human values are important to you
• Constructive, solution-oriented collaboration, including interdisciplinary, is a matter of course for you
• You resolve conflicts in a solution-oriented, open and reflective manner
• You communicate impartially, respectfully and appropriately
