Paediatric Nephrology at UKBB is part of a Basel-Bern-Ticino network. It offers the full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient treatments in paediatric nephrology. Start date: immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- You care for children and adolescents with kidney diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- You perform acute and chronic peritoneal dialysis and care for children and adolescents before and after kidney transplantation
- You maintain close collaboration with urology, the intensive care unit, and other paediatric specialities within the hospital
- You maintain intensive contact with colleagues in nephrology and transplant immunology and genetics at USB, as well as colleagues in paediatric nephrology at Inselspital Bern and in Bellinzona (Ticino)
Your profile
- You hold a medical and specialist diploma in paediatrics and adolescent medicine, preferably with a subspecialty in paediatric nephrology (or equivalent)
- You possess proven expertise and experience in the entire field of paediatric nephrology
- Applications from "fellows" in training specialising in paediatric nephrology, training centre category B, will be considered for the role of deputy senior physician.
