Profile Management Composition / Music Theory with a Teaching Position 80 - 100%
is to be filled. The position is responsible for the planning and implementation of fundamental music theory for all classical music students, the management of the major programs in Composition, Music Theory, Sound Design, and Audio Engineering, the associated minor programs, as well as committee work (including participation in the department conference, among others). The position includes a teaching role in Music Theory and/or Composition (20% - 40%).
We are looking for an integrative, open-minded, and critically thinking individual with a pronounced ability to comprehend and a high level of commitment. You hold a university degree in Music Theory and/or Composition and have teaching and leadership experience at the university level. Additionally, your language skills in German and English, both spoken and written, are excellent. You are willing to engage with commitment for the musical creation landscape of tomorrow and have visions of how to achieve this and implement it with the existing resources.

The trial lesson and the subject discussion are expected to take place on October 23 and 24, 2025, in Zurich. The trial lesson will be conducted publicly at the university.
