To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for a dedicated person who enjoys actively participating in the daily kitchen routine, taking responsibility and supporting our apprentices on their training path.
Your tasks: Training, coordinating and shaping
Training & Support: You take primary responsibility for the practical training of our apprentice cooks EFZ and accompany them both professionally and personally.
Training planning: You plan and coordinate the training content and teaching days according to the Cook EFZ/EBA 2024 training regulations and use the learning tool WIGL purposefully.
Deputy role: In the absence of the department management, you act as their deputy and ensure a smooth operation in the kitchen together with the team.
Kitchen & Quality: You actively participate in daily business, ensure high quality of our dishes and contribute your ideas to the further development of our offerings.
Inventory management: You assist with orders and ensure economical and sustainable handling of food.
Collaboration: You work closely with the kitchen team and other areas of Schlössli Pieterlen and contribute to a respectful and team-oriented working atmosphere.
Your profile: What you bring
Training: Completed training as a Cook EFZ as well as further training as a vocational trainer.
Experience: Professional experience in gastronomy or community catering. Experience in supporting and training apprentices is an advantage.
Organisation & Responsibility: You work independently, structured and responsibly and have good organisational skills as well as economic thinking.
Leadership: Ideally, you bring experience in a deputy or leadership role and enjoy taking responsibility.
Personality: You are team-oriented, communicative and reliable and enjoy passing on your knowledge and supporting others.
