- Design and continuous development of system and platform architectures
- Conceptualisation of viable, scalable and secure solution architectures based on cloud-native and platform engineering principles
- Planning and specification of system landscapes taking into account infrastructure, integration and operational requirements
- Ensuring compliance with architectural principles, standards and best practices
- Participation in the evaluation and selection of suitable platforms, modern technologies as well as automation and deployment concepts
- Close collaboration with technical specialist teams to implement architectural specifications as well as to assess technical risks and co-design target architectures
What you bring with you
- Completed training or higher professional education in computer science or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in designing system and platform architectures
- Profound understanding of architectural principles as well as cloud-native design with technologies such as Kubernetes and microservices
- Experience in stakeholder management and mediation between business and IT
- Ability to analyse technological issues and assess well-founded solution approaches
- Structured, communicative and convincing personality with a high standard of quality
- Fluent German skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
