The Nyon Rescue and Emergency Centre (CSU Nyon) is the emergency ambulance service of the Western Lake Geneva Hospital Group (GHOL). Its 28 employees carry out prehospital interventions in the Nyon region, the Côte, and Western Lake Geneva (3400 missions per year). CSU Nyon is part of the cantonal prehospital emergency system.
This one-year fixed-term position is offered as a maternity leave replacement.
Your main activities:
- Carry out prehospital interventions as a leader or team member
- Act autonomously in the appropriate application of rescue techniques and current protocols
- Perform administrative tasks related to the position
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of vehicles, equipment, and premises
- Train paramedic students and keep knowledge up to date
- Contribute to the promotion and maintenance of the CSU quality approach, recognised IAS and ISO 9001:2015
Your profile
- Hold a C1 driving licence
- Have a good knowledge of the medico-legal basics of cantonal and inter-cantonal ambulance activity
- Show an interest in knowledge transfer
- Able to work interdisciplinarily (SMUR, emergency, police, firefighters)
Diplomas / training:
Hold the Paramedic ES diploma (Swiss diploma required)
