The Médicentre Biel-Bienne is a unit of the Réseau de l’Arc and is located in the centre of Biel.
The hospitals and medical centres (Médicentres) of the Réseau de l'Arc, with their approximately 1,200 employees, cover the medical needs of a population of over 50,000 inhabitants. At the Médicentre Biel-Bienne, independent doctors with general or specialist practices are united, working in a team-oriented and interdisciplinary manner. Our surgical day clinic admits patients for outpatient procedures, and our Walk-In Clinic, a polyclinic, cares for patients without prior appointment.
To complement our emergency team, we are looking for a Dipl. Emergency Nurse to start immediately or by arrangement.
Job Description
- Confident application of nursing and medical knowledge in the care and treatment of emergency patients (babies/children/adults), including shock room patients, in close collaboration with general practitioners and paediatricians.
- Patient triage
- Managing emergency situations
- Applying plaster casts
- Reception and organisation of emergency consultations
- Laboratory tests after introduction
- Recording of services
- Participation in projects and development of standards
Qualifications
- Completed training as a qualified nurse HF/FH
- Experience in emergency nursing and emergency triage desired
- Independent and reliable working style, high service orientation, stress resistance, flexibility, and enjoyment in working with patients of all ages
- Positive and supportive team spirit
- Native German or French speaker, proficient in the other language
