As part of a replacement within the Bodywork Painting department, we are advertising a position for:

Sheet Metal Worker CDM 12 months

Your mission

Reporting to the bodywork painting manager, you must professionally carry out, within your area of expertise, various bodywork and paint preparation tasks, and upon request, support in the application of screen printing work, in order to provide various internal and external clients with a quality service that meets their needs within the best possible timeframes, and in compliance with rules, standards and directives.

Your main responsibilities

• Carry out various repair and overhaul work in bodywork,
• perform preventive and corrective maintenance in bodywork and/or upgrades,
• manufacture bodywork components and modify new parts from the store to restore vehicles to working order as quickly as possible,
• carry out repairs, overhauls and maintenance of vehicle parts and bodywork/upholstery components,
• perform various types of bonding (windscreens, windows, alloys, etc.),
• carry out polyester work, manufacture mesh templates, apply fibre layers and finish with filler to treat irregularities.

Your profile

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a bodywork sheet metal worker or equivalent qualification,
• minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar position
• holder of heavy goods vehicle and tram driving licences or meeting eligibility requirements, an advantage
• a clean criminal record (dated less than 6 months)
• a SIAC extract without licence withdrawal
• very good knowledge of specific polyester, welding and bonding work,
• necessary knowledge of vehicles and bodywork installations and equipment, as well as the products used.
• ability to work in a team
• sense of responsibility and willingness to commit
• apprentice trainer certificate - an advantage
