Through patented and highly innovative technologies, we are often one step ahead of the industry; Wyon AG is now the world market leader in the production of rechargeable batteries for cochlear implants.As an expert project manager in electrochemistry, you actively drive the development and optimisation of our next battery generations in the Research Chemistry department. You combine deep expertise with implementation strength in projects with worldwide cooperation partners.
Your tasks:
- You research, develop and optimise novel and existing technologies in various areas of battery technologies (active materials, electrodes, electrolytes and electrochemical methods)
- You develop new company-wide project standards and strategic roadmaps
- You take responsibility for internal projects as well as projects with worldwide cooperation partners
- You ensure the achievement of project goals regarding performance, quality and time
- You represent the company in electrochemistry at conferences or in strategic alliances
Your skills:
- You have a Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science or related natural sciences
- You have several years of industry experience in the development and production of electrochemistry for rechargeable batteries, especially in electrode manufacturing
- You have several years of project management experience
- You have a pronounced entrepreneurial mindset
- You communicate proactively and openly and enjoy working in a team
- You have strong social skills with assertiveness and acceptance towards project participants
- You can communicate confidently in German and English
- Your working method is reliable, structured, analytical and clean
- You bring a high level of quality awareness and personal responsibility
- You have experience with international partners/suppliers
- Experience in highly regulated markets (ideally med-tech sector) is an advantage
