Role:
The company is an internationally active Swiss mechanical engineering and technology group that develops highly precise machines and system solutions for industrial plastic processing.
Particularly exciting is the high technical depth of the projects: employees operate at the interface of mechanical engineering, automation, software, production, service, and international project business. The continuous development of technologies is oriented towards topics such as digitalisation, production efficiency, and sustainable resource use.
Responsibilities:
You act as a sparring partner for sales and operations and ensure transparency regarding costs, revenues, and compliance with financial targets.
With the help of sales, cost, and margin analyses, you support the departments in achieving a profitable overall performance.
You are responsible for the evaluation of order intake and sales and prepare the results for relevant stakeholders.
In cost centre analyses, you identify deviations and risks and contribute to the development of appropriate measures.
You support budget and forecast processes, create meaningful reports, and drive the further development of the controlling landscape.
Qualifications:
A higher education in finance and accounting or a degree in business administration (university/fachhochschule) forms your professional basis.
You bring several years of controlling experience and ideally know the requirements of a manufacturing or industrial company.
You have solid practical experience in cost accounting, manufacturing costs, contribution margins, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
You have very good knowledge of financial and management accounting and are confident in ERP and BI systems as well as Excel.
German written and spoken fluently.
